I walked into Victor Comics just looking for the new Miles Morales Spider-Man issue… I walked out with a stack of Batman: White Knight, a few One Piece volumes, and a smile so big my face hurt. The staff actually knows their stuff—like, deep cut-level knowledge. I asked about a rare Death Note Black Edition and they had it in stock! Bonus points for the little anime lounge in the back where they play My Hero Academia on Saturdays. This place is dangerous for my wallet but healing for my soul.
The selection of DC omnibuses here is unmatched—I finally found a copy of Crisis on Infinite Earths I'd been hunting forever. They’ve also got a solid range of Marvel Legends action figures and some impressive anime merch (hello, Attack on Titan pins!). The only reason I’m knocking off one star is because I wish the manga section was bigger. Still, it’s a cozy shop with a ton of heart, and if you’re into both capes and shonen, you’ll feel right at home.
Found this place randomly while visiting friends and WOW. They had X-Men '97 back issues, a whole wall of vintage Dragon Ball Z manga, and even a rare Japanese print of Sailor Moon! I spent two hours geeking out with the clerk over the best Harley Quinn arcs and walked out with way too many goodies. Also, props for the chill vibe—no gatekeeping here, just good energy and great comics. Already planning my next trip!
